Cosy open fireplace adds character to this period property which we understand used to be the Railway Inspectors/Managers House. Enjoy the summer sun in Birchview's beautiful garden which is mostly lawned with an attrective summer house, housing all garden furniture & BBQ. You may even get a glimpse of the Strathspey Steam train going by. Great location, well geared up for family use.

The Rothiemurchus Estate welcomes visitors with something for everyone, including a fish farm, guided walks, safari tours, clay pigeon shooting and lots more. Naturally, walking is very popular, with walks of all grades, notably at lower level in the Rothiemurchus pinewoods.
For that rainy day, the Leisure centre at Macdonald Highland Resort has a swimming pool with flume. It also hosts a techno gym and games room and has beauty/therapy treatments for that holiday treat.
